Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational and Environmental Health International Program
Plan 1.1 applicants who hold a M.Sc. in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health or related fields. Master thesis should be relevant with the program and having a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.
Plan 2.2 Holding a B.Sc. or equivalent fields, provided that the Bachelor program complies with following criterias;
6.1 Having taken Statistics and at least 2 of the following courses: Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Toxicology.
6.2 Having a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.
6.3 Having at least 2 years of experience in Occupational Health or Environmental Health.
• A student who is enrolling in the M.Sc. in Occupational and Environmental Health Program who has already taken the courses not less than 24 credits with a GPA not less than 3.50, with the agreement of academic advisor and the Program Administrative Committee to transfer to the Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational and Environmental Health Program. The student is required to pass the Qualifying Examination.
In the event that students enroll in the Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational and Environmental Health but they are unable to fulfill the requirements. They may submit a petition to the Program Administrative Committee to transfer to the Master’s Degree Program in Occupational and Environmental Health.
• Submitting and English language proficiency test score sheet form one of the result is not being older than 2 years at the date of application.
Document Required:
1. Full Curriculum Vitae and not less than 2 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Health.
2. Copy of both Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree certificates (English official certificate)
3. Copy of transcript of both Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree GPA which Master's Degree not less than 3.50 on a 4.00 scale (English official certificate)
4. English competence standards and English competence assessment criteria of
Doctoral degree students. the result is not being older than 2 years at the date of application.
All Doctoral degree students must have:
- a TOEFL Paper-based score with a minimum of 450; or
- a TOEFL Internet-based score with a minimum of 32; or
- an IELTS Academic module score with a minimum of 4.5; or
- a TU-GET (Thammasat University General English Test) Paper-based score with a minimum of 450 scores; or
- a TU-GET (Thammasat University General English Test) Computer-based score with a minimum of 32 score
Having a research proposal or full concept paper ready to present as one essential support
document in once application (Concept paper the title must be related in the field of Occupational and Environmental Health, education background, and experiences of their work that candidates aim to develop a thesis in the program.)
*** If applicants do not submit a concept paper, the program is disqualified from the interview exam.

8. A photograph of a straight-face file, such as .jpg/jpeg/png, size not more than 2 MB, with a blue or white background.
9. A Medical certificate shows is not an obstacle to education. (English official certificate, which is not older than the valid 1 month).
10. Income documents that show candidates can be responsible for expenses during study overseas such as bank statements, and salary slips amount to 12 months approximately 80,000 - 100,000 THB.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational and Environmental Health (International Program) for Thai and International students. The program emphasizes dissertations with applied health science in workplaces and the environment. Learners can create new knowledge, connect analysis, and manage problems comprehensively in terms of impacts on workers, pollution from workplaces that cause environmental contamination, and impacts from environmental pollution on the public. Because the problems that are currently occurring are often interconnected.
Students who graduate from this program. They will be experts in occupational health, safety, and environmental health, with ethics and morality in their careers. They can integrate knowledge and innovations in occupational health and safety and environmental health through research, analysis, and synthesis to assess situations, as well as apply knowledge to develop and solve new problems systematically. Graduates from this program will be academic leaders, and creative thinkers, and be able to work effectively with individuals or relevant agencies to jointly create a good environment, which will affect the quality of life and well-being of people in society.
The Ph.D. (Occupational and Environmental Health) provides graduates with:
1) Having in-depth knowledge and ability in occupational health and environmental health.
2) Having knowledge and technology in both theories and practice of occupational and environmental health.
3) Having research skills to create knowledge and innovation, especially in statistical analysis and applying research results to solve problems.
