The Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational Health and Environmental Health (International Program) aims to cultivate qualified graduates with strong ethical values and a deep commitment to social responsibility. How to Apply
Study Duration
The full-time program is designed to be completed within a maximum duration of 12 semesters (maximum) The academic system follows a bi-semester structure, with one academic year divided into two regular semesters. Each regular semester consists of no fewer than 15 weeks of instruction.

Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Scholarship (RGJ-Ph.D.)
A scholarship for students pursuing a Ph.D. at Thai universities, focusing on research that benefits the economy, society, and academia.

Program Scholarship
In the absence of other scholarship support, the Program offers merit-based partial scholarships for qualifying students.
Requirements for Graduation
- Complete all course requirements of the particular program.
- Pass a Qualifying Examination within 3 times.
- English competence standard and English competence assessment criteria of Master Degree Students. All master degree students must be required accordingly:
English proficiency test scores must be valid for no more than two years from the date of result announcement.- a TOEFL Paper-based score with a minimum of 550; or a TOEFL Internet-based score with a minimum of 79; or
- an IELTS Academic module score with a minimum of 6.5; or
- a TU-GET (Thammasat University General English Test) score with a minimum of 550 for Paper-based points or a minimum of 79 for Internet-based points.
- Complete the dissertation paper and successfully defend it.
- Dissertation or part of the dissertation shall be published, or at least be accepted to be published in a recognized international journal according to the criteria set in the Announcement of Office of the Higher Education Commission on Dissemination of Academic papers at least 2 papers. Acceptable databases include: International databases: ERIC, MathSciNet, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science (only SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI), JSTOR, and Project Muse Or the dissertation or part of the dissertation must be published, accepted for publication, or disseminated in at least one high-quality international journal as specified by the Office of the Higher Education Standards Committee. In addition, the work must include at least one innovation or creative output with potential for commercial, social, or economic application, or be granted at least one patent. In the case of innovative or creative works, the thesis must be evaluated by a minimum of three external experts in the relevant or related field, recognized for their expertise and experience, and approved by the University Council.
- Must meet the requirements for graduating according to the Program Specification and related conditions before submitting a graduation request to the faculty in the last enrolled semester.
- No debts still not paid, once the graduation requested.
