The Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, in collaboration with Uppsala University, Sweden, organized an academic engagement activity on Thursday, 4 June 2026, 09.30 – 11.00 AM to strengthen institutional collaboration and promote knowledge exchange in the field of Global Health.
As part of the visit, Associate Professor Dr. Soorej Jose Puthoopparambil from Uppsala University met with the Faculty’s executive team to discuss opportunities for future cooperation in education, research, and academic exchange between the two institutions.

In conjunction with this visit, the Faculty hosted a special lecture entitled “Evidence Informed Policy Making in Global Health.” The lecture provided faculty members, researchers, students, and interested participants with valuable insights into the use of evidence in health policy development and decision-making processes in global health contexts. The session was offered in both on-site and online formats to facilitate broader participation.
This activity aimed to enhance academic capacity, foster international collaboration, and strengthen networks among scholars and practitioners in Global Health, while contributing to future collaborative initiatives in research, education, and policy development.
