On 6 February 2026
Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus)
welcomed a delegation from the Department of International Cooperation,
Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA)
at Room 1033, 10th Floor, Piyachart Building.
The visit aimed to exchange views and gather insights on the academic and living experiences
of international students studying in Thailand.
The delegation was warmly received by Asst.Prof.Pol.Maj. Dr. Katiya Ivanovitch, Deputy Dean for Administration and International Affairs,
who hosted the discussion and engaged in an open dialogue with the participants.
The session provided an opportunity for constructive exchange between the university,
TICA representatives, and students.
Key discussion points focused on academic experiences, including the effectiveness of the study programs
in meeting students’ expectations and how the knowledge gained could be integrated into their professional work
and applied in their home countries. Students were encouraged to share their perspectives
on learning outcomes and practical relevance.
The discussion also covered issues related to studying and living in Thailand,
such as accommodation arrangements, transportation services, and guidance on daily life
and cultural adaptation. These topics were raised to better understand students’ needs
and challenges during their period of study.
In addition, participants exchanged views on the types of support required by students,
including academic support, existing limitations, and matters related to leave or flexibility during their studies.
The session allowed students to openly share their experiences and suggestions, contributing valuable feedback
for enhancing international student support and strengthening future international cooperation initiatives.
