Cross-Cultural Outing for students from Maastricht University

The Maastricht University International Cross-Cultural Outing was organized and led by the Faculty of Public Health (FPH), Thammasat University, for international program and exchange students from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
The program took place from January 7–9, 2026,
At Seapine Beach Golf & Resort, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan,
with the objective of promoting cross-cultural understanding, diversity, and inclusiveness in a supportive learning environment.

On January 7, 2026, participants arrived and checked in at the resort before joining an introduction and ice-breaking session facilitated by the PALS teams. Through small-group activities, students shared personal backgrounds, discovered common interests, and learned each other’s Thai names, helping to build early connections. Participants then had time to explore Seapine Beach and engage in informal beach activities that encouraged relaxation and group bonding.

Activities on January 8, 2026, focused on the theme of diversity and inclusiveness.
Students took part in interactive sessions emphasizing active listening, teamwork, cultural exchange, and cross-cultural communication.
A Thai language session for daily life was also conducted to enhance cultural immersion.
The day concluded with a reflection and debrief session, allowing participants to share key learnings and experiences, followed by closing remarks and appreciation from the organizers.
